| I want to do vegetable garden. I want to buy some veggie plants in a good reputable nursery where I live. I am a newbee, so may be you can recomend a good nursery in Tacoma/Fed. Way/Puyallup area?
Thanks in advance |

| My first choice for service, veggie selection would be Portland Avenue Nursery(253 473 0194). If you live in the Puyallup ares Watsons Greenhouse, though a little pricey IMO, is a good one as well. Jim |

| Watson's is fantastic. Prices aren't dirt-cheap, but not as high as some places in Seattle or the East side of Lk. Washingmachine. |

| i've had great luck with the Orting Greenhouse/nursery. from Puyallup area, you'd at least be going for a pleasant drive. |

| If you are willing to drive a little bit further, I'd strongly suggest Windmill Gardens in Sumner. They have a wonderful veggie selection, to include the BIGGEST selection of tomatoes and peppers than any other nursery in the Puyallup area that I have ever seen. Last weekend was the annual salsa fest, when they bring out all of their tomato and pepper selections. Prices are decent and aren't as expensive as Watson's, although that is also a very nice nursery. |
