Sources for soil-less mix ingredients in/around Seattle

Hi all,

I'm wondering if any of the folks in the Seattle area could share in any tips/leads on the ingredients for the ever popular 5-1-1 or 3-2-1 soil-less mixes. Particularly the bark fines and Sunshine Advanced Mix #4 for Raybo's 3-2-1.

I'm looking to make a pretty good quantity of a mix (~1 cu yd).

Sorry if this has been asked a million times - my searches didn't come up with anything.

Thanks!

    Hello nwbrewer,
I get my bark in bags,1.5-3cf.It's about 3-4 dollars.Lowes(Greensmix),Fred Meyer(I think Mountain Magic puts it out,in a green bag)and McClendon's(either High Alpine, which is Hemlock and Douglas Fir,made by the Carpinito Brothers in Kent or Waupaca(spelling?)Douglas Fir and White Fir.
I called the two latter companies to find what their ingredients were and Carpinito I believe delivers or can be picked up in bulk. Some say to be careful as they were shorted with delivery.Carpinito phone (253) 854-5692

Another source for materials just off Hwy 2. They might have what you need in big bags or bulk. Peat, vermiculite, etc.
