succulents and cedars?

I just purchased some succulent "tiles" and realized after I got home that they may not be compatible with the cedar tree they are to be planted under/adjacent to. Should I plant them there or will the tree kill them?

Sedums and sempervivums? Be sure they have plenty of light and conifer debris does not pile up on and around them.

These types of plants are more tolerant of less desirable growing conditions than you might think :-) I'd certainly try them......they can easily be moved if you think that situation is not working as well as you hoped.
