water fountain...

I am hoping that someone can help out on getting water fountain. One that makes nice sound and is visually pleasing. The kind that you buy in a store ready to go.Need something low maintenance, something that needs no water to be added daily, with a good pump system. Was thinking of something like a natural stone so it needs not much cleaning. Its going to be outside and have some protection.I would prefer not to have to remove the pump for the winter time.Mild coastal winters.
What should we ask for when selecting one?
Any help would be great.Thanks

RE: water fountain...

You want a quality magnetic drive pump like Pondmaster or Supreme. Not a el cheapo Little Giant or Beckett. They wear out fast. Mag drives use less electricity and are more reliable.

Thanks Buyorsell: So should I buy the pump and fountain separately? I thought they come together? Anyways thanks for the tip I shall keep it in mind when looking.

RE: water fountain...

It depends on where you buy it. Some are sold separately and some together.

I don't know where you are but Hughes Water Gardens in Tualatin has an excellent selection.
