Yellow Magnolia Leaves

Hello,

We had a lovely magnolia tree growing in our yard when we moved in 12 years ago. It has grown tremedously since then, and must be at least 20 feet tall. It blooms every year, and seems to be more beautiful each year. It is a fairly common type, I'm ignorant of the name, but it is pink and white with a cup shaped bloom. this year, once the flowering finished, I noticed as the leaves came in they were a very sickly yellow. It doesn't look very healthy. It was planted in a fairly boggy area of our yard, and I am wondering if this might be the problem. I live in Vancouver B.C. so it is a deciduous magnolia. I hope someone can help me.

Thank you, Trish
