My gooseberries got pale leaves ?

My newly planted gooseberry was a healthy plant for a while and even brought the first gooseberry. But last couple days its leaves became pale and it just not looking healthy anymore.
What could it be?
I recently discovered mole in my garden. Could it be his fault?
