I picked one up at a Ct.nursery last week; green/wh/pk splashed shiny quince-like leaves. The nursery is z.5b and the owner told me i'd have no trouble growing it. I've posted this query in Shrubs and Perennials but no one has responded. I know you lucky dog PNWers grow so many things that we cannot in new eng>> do any of you grow this and have you heard anyth about it being z.5 hardy(even though that would not be a concern for you, i know.)?
Thanks for your help. Is your summer weather going well for you this yr.? We used to visit annually but have skipped the last few years. We just might pop back out there this summer.I really miss the air out there.and the mountains. and the gardens. and the nurseries. and the restaurants.
and the air.
