Does anyone know if I can over winter Bat Face Culphea in zone 9. My plants are in the garden, not in pots.

Cuphea barbigera? Try finding your Sunset Climate Zone in the Sunset WESTERN GARDEN BOOK and then looking up your plant in the plant encyclopedia section of the book.
