First time poster, and apologies in advance if this post is misplaced.

We live in Seattle and are looking to redesign/re-landscape the back side of our lot, which is essentially a drastic slope down to the street, and is overrun with blackberries and ivy.

We are going to need the assistance of a professional to help us design a new scape and pick plants, but I don't really know where to start. I've checked Yelp and Angie's list, but would appreciate (if appropriate) hearing from anyone with a personal recommendation. I imagine the project is going to cost between 15k and 45k, depending on design choices and excavation work. Our design aesthetic leans to NW native plants and rockery (or some other natural looking hardscape).
