I've noticed several trees are much more common in the Sequim area than in much of western Washington... notably Tamarix parviflora and Elaeagnus angustifolia.
This seems to bloom later than the other specimens around Sequim. It's also more upright. I wonder what it is and where they got it?
Photographed in full bloom on July 30, but, it's in a REALLY cool-summer microclimate right on the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
