Mint compost

We got some of this in the spring to put in and around my garden..This stuff is not compost at all its what is left over after they make mint oil..Its not composted at all and will take over a year and lots of work and other things added to make it compost if it ever becomes compost at all..DONT GET THIS STUFF!!..I even tryed to put it around tress and top dressing in the field..DONT DO IT!..The stuff is like cement in the field and killed every thing

Sorry about that WG. I've never heard of mint compost, do you have a link?

That's strange. I've used mint compost with very good results. Unfortunately, the mint farm was sold to a developer, so I no longer have a source. Maybe yours wasn't finished compost. I think it deterred deer too, an added bonus.
