Hi everyone, can someone please help me with my new strawberry patch? I have both ever bearing and June bearing and this is the end of their first year. Of course we had a wet spring and that may be my problem but all of a sudden, maybe two weeks ago, Sept. I noticed large black splotchs on the leaves. I did some reading, read about all kinds of diseases but none seemed to match my large black spots on the leaves. I have been picking the affected leaves off and discarding them but seems only more spots appear on other leaves as fast as I pick them off. I am hoping to not end up with infected soil, maybe already have that but what can I do??? Is there a product available at Ace Hardware, just about our only store here in John Day Ore. Any assistance from knowledgable people would be greatly appreciated. Any links to good articles covering this particular disease would also be helpful.
