Spring flowers in fall

I think this hot, dry summer has fooled a lot of perennials into thinking it is a new season and they are flowering now. I have flowers on 4 rhodies, not a lot of flowers, but these guys are definitely spring bloomers. Also have lots of new flowers on my viburnum davidii and on a choisya.
Actually, the viburnum and choisya have more flowers now than they did in the spring because the deer browsed them in the winter time. We have had an average of 1/2 inches of rain per month for the past 3 1/2 months. I never thought I would say this, but I sure hope the winter gives us lots of rain this year.
