Hardy Fern Society opens stumpery

The Hardy Fern Society is having it's dedication ceremony and official opening of the stumpery at the Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden in Federal Way, WA on Sunday, September 20 from 1- 4 pm. Light refreshments will be served (Cake! Whoo hoo!). They've brought in a bunch of ferns to sell as well as Sue Olsen's Encyclopedia of Ferns. She will be available for signing (though I don't think she knows it yet).

True, but the stumpery is still there, and the Hardy Fern Foundation brought some great ferns for the plant sale area.
