Deciduous Viburnums for Hedge

goofyisgreen

I am looking to put in a deciduous hedge which will hold

3-season interest. I would like it to have 3-season interest (spring or summer flowers, summer or fall berries, and nice fall foliage), and I'm considering several varieties of viburnum.

My goal is a plant that can be comfortable pruned to 5 to 7 feet, vertical orientation, medium to slow grower. After talking to several nursery workers and doing research on the internet, I am investigating varieties like Blue Muffin, Brandywine, and Mohican.

I am interested in comments from people who do (or would) know whether these (or other varieties) would fit the bill. Also, if they are hardy or happy in this climate, in these conditions.

Thanks!
