Apple Tasting & Cider Pressing this Sat.

Lot of antique & heritage apples to taste this Saturday; fresh and in liquid form, at Antique Apple Orchards of Sweet Home. Highlight of the day will be the operation of a vintage commercial cider press. Time is 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Location is 28095 Santiam Hwy (watch for signs near milepost 25 on Hwy 20 going into Sweet home from Lebanon) - the setting is very picturesque along the banks of the South Santiam River - over 180 varieties - all events under a roof in case of rain - know the whole family will have a great time there - the Home Orchard Society will have their fruit identification team there - what a deal!!!

Went last year, it was fantastic!!!

Similar event at Portland Nursery at 5050 SE Stark in Portland. Went last year and it was worth braving the crowds.
