| I am a new transplant to the Hockinson Hills area. My sister in California sent me sweet pea seeds to grow, but I have never grown them before and have no idea when or where is best to start them, especially for Washington. Does anyone have any information on how I can grow these sweet peas? |

| Usually planted early, at end of winter, as are edible peas. You may not be able to use seeds intended for this year, unless you get them to store in a viable condition until planting time next year. |
|
| In CA you'd be planting them now. Here, wait til spring. March or April. |
