Hi,
For those of you who want a kaffir lime tree (leaves for Thai dishes), you may want to check out 'lowes'. The one in Auburn has a dwarf variety (less thorns) for sale (50% off) so it's only $15 for a 3.5 gallon size. I got one:-)

Wow, that's a good price. Does it need to be indoors for the winter?

Yes it does need to be protected for the winter. I keep all my citrus in the garage under lights, but I know of one grower who has kept this one as a houseplant for over 10 years. He said it perfumes the room when he harvests the leaves for cooking. :)
