| Hi, all! I wonder if anyone happens to know what the small purple plant is under the rock in the following photographs - close up of foliage and flower included:
I think i may be in love with it!

| Notice how it contrasts with the yellow pansy on the left. Another black-and-yellow combo using the same plant was done at the NPA border in the Bellevue Botanical Garden, where it was planted with a sheet of yellow creeping Jenny in front. |

| Ah, thank you so much! And yes, that combination is so effective. I'd love to replicate that entire dry bed somehow, but it seems really daunting to me. It's much larger than just this little piece, and the truncated photograph doesn't do it justice. |

| That bed is gorgeous! Love the use of the stones and rocks. I agree with bboy, most of the plants are moisture lovers. Estreya, if you live near Portland, I have some black mondo that needs to be divided.... |
