Tree for clay

I tried to post this in the tree forum but kept getting an error message that the website was not available...

I need a decidious tree for a small yard in a neighborhood of single story homes and have narrowed it down to 3, I hope your input will help me make a decision.

My yard is west facing with lots of hot sun, temperatures sometimes reach triple digits in summer. My soil is dense, heavy clay with pH of 7.5. I did a drainage test by filling a one foot hole, where a small tree was removed (it is possible this area may have been slightly mounded at one time), with water. One hour later there was 3 inches left. I filled it again and another hour later there was two inches left.

I'm considering Ginko, Shantung Maple or Maackia either the Amur or its smaller cousin the Chinesis. Any and all input will be welcome. Thanks much.
