Shrub-What is it?

Posted by kyme Louisville, Ky (My Page) on

I have a bush which is about 6 feet tall and 6 feet wide. It is currently leafed out and has small white blooms on it. It blooms every winter in January or February.

The blooms look like Forsythia blooms only white and the stems are more firm then Forsythia.

I will try to post a picture of it, I am trying to figure out what it is.

Thanks,
Martha

Martha - a picture would help a lot. But in the meantime - Google Abeliophyllum distichum as a possibility.

Thanks, I found out that it is a Chinese honeysuckle.
