OH how sweet it was!! today is nothing to be too excited about although the days are getting longer. the pond thawed so yesterday i cleaned out leaves that were near the top. please to report all fish alive and doing well. my snowdrops are blooming as well. sounds like i am north of you the daffodils are just barely through the ground here. did you notice yesterday that the earth had thawed enough that late in the afternoon you could just smell the wonderful wet earth. think spring

i also have daff's up and my ponds are thawed, funny thing is that my fish are up and wanted food way too soon to feed them or they will get blot and cause swim bladder problems I can't wait to see something in bloom.

Spring the other day was so wonderful. I stayed off the soil..but, actually pulled some weeds in one bed. It felt so good to have dirty hands!!

That beautiful day helps me to "hold on" until spring comes.
