Happy Groundhog's Day

It appears that Punxsutawney Phil and Buckeye Chuck both saw shadow, so if you beleive in the ability of a rodent to predict the arrival of spring, there is six more weeks.

Yes, sometimes I think Phil & Chuck to a better job than the Doppler Radar.

I would, however, like a bit more cold weather for my winter sowing activities.

Still...I am thinkin' spring!

Sad to say, West Virginia's French Creek Freddie did not see his shadow. I still haven't WS'd most of my seeds, but Freddie seems to think we're just not going to have a winter.

Weather guy says that we're in for a cold snap and be leaning more toward that normaal colder temps and even some really good chances of snow through the end of Febuary. So, we shall see how the rest of the month pans out.
