Table Grapes

Posted by Highlandboy Kentucky (My Page) on

A friend near Louisville would like to plant a seedless grape in his yard for snacking. Does anyone have a recommendation for which variety he should try, and also where to purchase good quality grape vines in this area?

I've always heard Reliance does well in this area and Millers Nursery in New York is a good source

RE: Table Grapes

I've grown reliance grapes in Louisville, KY since 2004 and they do well and the grapes are super delicious. Just make sure to cover with nets for the birds once the grapes start to swell up and ripen and spray with BT or compost tea if the grapes show blackrot.
