Columbus Ohio container gardening - When can I start?

| I am new to the columbus area and would like to container garden some tomatoes, herbs and other veggies. When is the best time to start these? Any tips?

| Last frost date around here is what, May 15th or May 18th? One of the two. I usually push the button and try to put my tender annuals out around mothers day. Or, if I get nice weather in April, I'll put containers out sooner, but move them in and out of my garage if we get late frosts or freezes... Where did you live before Columbus? |
