Waiting for daylight

Waiting for daylight to see how much damage the cold temps did last night. I covered up what I could. So disheartening. I guess things will grow back. My little crabapple had just bloomed!

RE: Waiting for daylight

It feels so strange out this morning. Warm and snowy at my house. I have a dear flowering crab, too. It is a spectacular showy little tree. Too bad I planted it far from my house years ago before I knew exactly how small an 18' ornamental tree is. I wish it was just outside my office door!

Most plants will re-leaf, but they won't rebloom unless some existing flower buds weren't open enough to perish.
