Free Pallets in Cols Area??

Posted by telamin z5 OH (My Page) on

Hello all

My compost pile needs to be contained. Before I spend money on wood and/or chicken wire in a sorry attempt to build a compost bin from scratch, I was hoping for some suggestions for free pallets. I hear that the pallet bins are great.

I live in Columbus.
BTW - I've asked Home Depot and Lowe's... they told me no.

Thanks in advance!

RE: Free Pallets in Cols Area??

Hi!

Here in Hilliard ther is a farm implement store on Hayden Run Road near Avery Rd. that puts out pallets with a FREE sign. You just have to stop by and get them. I wish I could tell you their name so you could call them but I don't know it. I'll try to note it if I go by it sometime soon.

I don't know if you'd be interested but my friend and partner in crime, Beverly and I do a plant swap here in Hilliard every May. you can check us out on the Get Togethers forum under Central Ohio Plant Swap and Potluck.

Good luck with the pallets and hope to see you at the swap!
