I am looking for a place in or near Lexington, KY to buy tomatillo starter plants. Any suggestions? If not, does anyone know if it is too late here to start tomatillos from seed?
It's not too late, I have tomatillos that reseed every year and they haven't popped up yet.
Mine came from a old store bought tomatillo that I threw in the compost bin. I've had them ever since. I tried Aunt Molly's one year, but they just didn't do as well as the store bought one. One of these days I'm going to devise a ground cherry pie recipe, just so I can deal with all the tomatillo fruit!
