so then the cold frame blew down

Got a little windy here in Louisville last night. The oak tree next door split in half. It hailed, then my cold frame blew down. It looks like I lost some seedlings drowned, but most made it through. If anyone happens to have large windows no longer in use, I would appreciate them. This polyethylene plastic is jus hard to work with

Oh, how frustrating! I'm glad you didn't lose everything, at least.

I wish I was closer to you--I have quite a few large windows that I've trashpicked over the years from the neighbors' treelawns on garbage day! Do you have any "junk" or "architectural salvage" stores that might have some cheap? Or does Louisville have any good freecylce communities?

I wish I could help! My only suggestion would be Freecyle or Craigslist.

Hope you can rebuild!

John,

I have a couple extra I think I can spare, and can bring them to the swap...you'd then have them for next season.

What might you have to trade...or do you have any idea yet.

This is really an incentive for me to get my trading list in order.

Are you still wanting Hyacinth Beans?

Email me your addy, if you are, and I'll get some out to you.

Sue
