| I have planted several bushes this year and so far they all seem to be doing well, except the purple sand cherry (plum)I bought a Lowe's. A lot of the leaves seem to be drying out and falling off especially the top 1/3 of the bush. I have been doing a lot of watering but it is in the sun. Anyone have any ideas what the problem might be? (P.S I don't see any bugs ) |

| Did you look on the bark? It might be scale. I have a line of Sand Cherries on the back of my property that got gangly because of lack of pruning by the previous owner. I just limbed them up and now have a beautiful line of small trees. They did put on alot of growth that first year that I trimmed them. They are now about 16' tall. Hope that this helps! ~~Mimi |
