Get a closer and clearer picture of the bloom and post in Name that Plant Forum. You will have an answer in mintes.

Is it growing and hardy to your area? I'm anxious to find out what it is because I might just have to have one.

Please come back and post if/when you find out.

TIA...Sue...always on the lookout for something 'new'.

definitely kerria japonica. this is a single bloom plant, also has a double bloom cultivar(plenoflora). i just got one at baker's acres in alexandria, ohio.

it is shade and drought tolerant. and recommended nasa shade blooming shrub. primary display in spring, but will rebloom. green stems all winter. tends to sucker
