Hello and Welcome! it sounds like you have a great start on your gardens- good job! my 'pass me down' plants are some of my favorites in my garden- I don't know of any solutions to the dandelion 'explosion' -Most everyone I know has them-just have to keep digging them up -hopefully before they seed and start blowing around to make more! *sigh*

I want to invite you to visit the cottage garden and winter sowing forums- both are very busy forums, with lots of beautiful pictures thrown in for good measure! I winter sow all my seeds (this is my 5th year)-I never thought I could grow from seed until I found winter sowing! Check out the FAQ there, and see what all the fun is about!

I am in Louisville- close to the airport and fairgrounds-Check the other posts here for details of our plant exchange in June! Would love for you to attend- if you don't have plants to trade, no problem (at least for me!) I am bringing lots more than I want to take home! :))

Hi everyone! I'd like to introduce myself to you all! I live and garden in Evansville and especially enjoy cottage gardening.

I am currently very interested in selling perennials (I have also checked out the market forum), as well as in propagating perennials, shrubs and herbs, and in developing a large shade garden. I have spent a few days looking through the various forums here and I think this will be a great way to share ideas and meet others!
