Has anyone been to Kingwood in Mansfield in past week or so? Wondering what's in bloom there right now and if I should take my Mom this weekend (24th) or wait until July.
Never been but from its website, it looks like a great place!

| Sorry, can't comment on Kingwood, but if you go up that way and have the energy after Kingwood, you should stop at Wade & Gatton Nurseries. W&G is outside Bellville at 1288 Gatton Rocks Road. It's about a 10 minute drive from the I71 and SR13 interchange. They have huge display gardens of hostas and daylilies. It may be a little early for the daylilies, but the hosta gardens alone are worth the trip. They are closed on Sundays. |
