Painted Daisies

I recently bought painted daisies for my father for Fathers Day and was looking for more detailed information on caring for them. I scoured the Miami Valley area and found seven plants in terrible shape, but purchased them anyway. I was hoping to give them a boost before I see him next week. I was also wondering if they bloom more than once. Any help would be great.

RE: Painted Daisies

Painted daisies will bloom in late spring or early summer... if you cut them back (dead head) they should rebloom in late summer. from personal experience i have found that they are really short lived perennials and need to be divided every 2-3 yrs to keep them re-juvenated and prevent them from dying off.
