| I pride myself on being a very frugal gardener. Sprout seeds I've collected or traded for in recycled plastic containers, make my own compost with juice bar scraps and shredded free newspapers, etc.
But sometimes, I just gotta splurge on a plant. And so I would like to present my $8.99 "Escargot" rex begonia!
Of course my Siberian Shortie had to take a bite outt of one of the leaves as soon as I got it home, but I love this plant! I've never had rex begonias before, but I'm going to try my darndest to keep it alive this winter. I love the colors, the shapes, everything about it!
