question about climbing roses

I have climbing roses that, as usual, are getting very leggy. Is there anything I can do about that at this time. Can they be cut back when finished blooming?

I have what I think might be a Seven Sisters climber, or maybe rambler that only blooms once per season. I cut it way back after it blooms, and it then grows out nicely quite quickly, which I may or may not trim back again.

Prune all once-flowering bushes, shrubs, ramblers and climbers in late spring or early summer, as soon as possible after they finish flowering.
