Plant Sale in Indianapolis (Irvington) Friday - Sunday!

There will be a perennial plant sale in Indy from 6/23-6/25 (Friday - Sunday). The sale opens at 8am and will go until people stop buying plants. LOL This is an event that is "piggybacked" with the Irvington Garden Tour.

It is on the east side in Irvington area at:

52 N. Layman Ave.

Proceeds will go to benefit the homeless (www.pourhouse.org).

Did you go? Have you gone b4? Details please...did they have unique things? Reasonable?

If you can think to post it more in advance next season, I may be a candidate to attend.

The sale coupled with the tour (from other post)would make it a very worthwhile day trip.

Is it usually held the same weekend each year, or do you know?

Hi Sue! It was *me* that had it! LOL I did have unique and reasonable things and I am planning on doing it again next year. I ton of it was plants from my yard but I also had some great nurseries donate plants - it was a blast and a great fundraiser for the nonprofit I run! :)

I'll definitely let you know way ahead of time next time and can even send you a list and hold things so you can look at them and get "first dibs" when you come. The IGT is really a fun one because the yards are all so different.
