IS this sale through the catalog or at a specific location?

Sorry I guess I should have mentioned that - it is at there retail store in Tipp City, Oh. Tipp City is right off I-75 just north of Dayton.

How fast do the plants sell... i may make a trip up there but it wouldn't be until the weekend. It would be awfully dissapointing if I made the trip and there was nothing interesting left

I plan to go on Thursday night so I can let you know what is left then.

I just reread the flyer and it says to bring it for entry to the "special preview on Thursday night" but I know they didn't even check last year and thats just for Thursday night.

So... how was it?

Sorry I didn't post last night, didn't get home until 11:30 and just got home. There was less variety than last year but still alot of plants, lots of mums ,foxgloves and primroses (those are just some that I noticed). The bareroots were going pretty quick. There seemed to be more people this year, word from last year must have spread.

They are also having sales on their regular stock, 1 gallon container plants were buy 2 get one free, same for quart size perennials. I got 3 hydrangeas for 25.00 in gallon containers - one's a climbing hydrangea so I was excited about that.

Depends on how far you have to travel I guess and if you have ever been there, they do have some nice display gardens, including plants they are testing.

If you go, be sure to sign up on their list so you get the mailer next year. We got a free container of fertlizer and a free book (choice of herbs or pumpkin growing) for signing up. DOn't know if that was a special for Thursday night or not.

If you go, let me know what was left, just curious how fast they go.

I ended up having a friend come into town and coudl not go. I'll put it on my list of thing to do next year though.
