What Phlox is that!

Hi! I have been noticing this striking phlox here and there in peoples yards on my way into town and wondered if anyone here would happen to know the cultivar name. It is a striking--almost neon purpley/pink [or maybe HOT orchid describes it better] and tall. Everywhere I see it usually has black eyed susans in front and the combo is fantastic! I want it! lol Could it be Robert Poore? or Nicky? or other?????? If they were neighbors close by I would ask them but ---I am shy and don't want to just go barge in up to a stranger's door. :( So I am really hoping someone here can help me. It has such huge heads on it! Very floriferous! I have some tall garden phlox but nothing that stands out like this one.

Thanks ahead for any info you might have. :)

Is it a peacock phlox? Go ahead and google it and see if it is what you are looking for.

Well, I went to look those up and everything I found says that they [peacock phlox] only get 18"-24" tall and the one I am seeing is definitely 3' plus ---more like 4' actually. Susch a glowing hot purple color too! Anyways, thanks for the tip about Peacock but I don't think that is it.

Here is my Phlox Tenor, looking pretty ragged. It has almost neon color to it. It is described as being different heights. It just depends on what site you check.

Phlox Tenor

Mine is not all that tall, but it is the second year, and is in very poor soil with no fertilizing.

Woo Hoo!!! Mystery solved! It is indeed a Robert Poore! I also posted over on the perennials forum and a lady put up a picture of it! Tall with big flower heads and the color of purple coneflowers only a tad more bright! Appreciate everyones help. Thanks! Now to track me down some Robert Poore Phlox! :)
