you don't show where in ohio that you are. i live in the akron area and Lucifer survives over winter here, especially if you have planted it deeply. glads will do the same thing as well if they are deep enough. although most of the lucifer that i see are near to houses. you might as well take the chance and see what happens.

I had some that came back the year after I planted them. However, the second year they didn't come back again. Perhaps, it depends on the winter.

Thanks for the info. I am in Marysville OH, about 1/2 hour northwest of Columbus. I did plant my Crocosmia near our deck so there is some shelter.

Sure hope they make it. I will mulch well and hope for the best.

Mine also came back one year and then disappeared. I do see them around town here in Columbus.
