Please help - my morning glories are sick

Hi -
My morning glories have been climbing up the new arbor over our fence gate.

But, this week they've become sick. The leaves start out green but then they get covered with brown speckles and eventually turn yellow and die.

( I don't see any bugs or nibbled parts on them.)

Any suggestions on how I can save them? Abbie

Look at the roots see if there any ants or bugs.
I have had to dig up and wash off the roots cause of these
things good luck! mendy
