| I called Earthscapes in Loveland, and they have it...but they say they don't have the Stewartia and didn't know what I was talking about...mrgpag had found it there....very curious...but I'd still like to hear from anyone who is growing it..... |

| i put a parrotia persicaria in the church garden i managed for several years and it is just doing wonderfully. i planted it about 6 years ago. i received many complimentary inquiries from congregation members about it. its such a great little different twist. | what is the difference in Parrotia persica and parrotia persicaria? just started researching this ....and cant find much info.............thanks in advance for any info |

| I think the correct botanical name is Parrotia persica. I have two (the columnar variety "Vanessa") which I found at a tree nursery in the Athens, OH area and they're nice trees - but I'm not overwhelmed by the fall color. |
