Wanted: Arch, needed ASAP

| Well, what a way to end this dry spell! As much as I know we need the rain, I don't know how good all this rain does when it's delivered all at once.
They say we've received some 4" of rain today here in my neiborhood of Cincinnati. Anywhere from 2-4 inches in the area and it's still raining and they're saying another inch before Katrina moves off. I just looked out the window and noticed the wheelbarrow I forgot to put away yesterday and it's almost completely full of water!
Now, where did I leave that Arch!

| An arch could get you over the water. Here in the flatlands of Columbus, we need an ark to float away in! (Where are you in Cincy? I grew up in the heights of Kennedy Heights, then lived in Mt. Auburn and Walnut Hills, both on reassuringly high ground! Here in Columbus, I'm nervously close to two overgrown drainage ditches called rivers, and I'm eyeing the water carefully....) |

| Luckily, I'm on high ground here in Mt. Washington. At the bottom of the hill we have the Little Miami and I'm about 5 minutes drive from the mightly Ohio and Coney Island. I'm used to flatlands, grew up in north of Columbus in Marion, Ohio... gotta admire what glaciers can do to the land, but I have to admit the "seven hills" of Cincinnati was much welcome. Shannon |
