Will Confederate Jasmine Do Well in Huntington Area?

Posted by midnightstorm Zone 8a - Carolina (My Page) on

I am moving to the Huntington area from zone 8 and would like to bring as many of my plants with me as possible. Can anyone tell me whether confederate jasmine will do okay in the Huntington area and, if so, will it still be perennial and come back in the spring?

Thanks!

I've asked my various gardening friends, and the consensus is that it is too tender to leave outdoors over the winter here. Your best bet is to pot it up and bring it indoors for the winter. (I'm sorry, it's me again. I only know of one other GW member from this area.)
