Autumn's falling fast...

...but there are still some pretties in the garden!

I really love this picotee morning glory. Unusual leaves and well-behaved vines. (At least so far!)

Pity I can't seem to finds any seeds. If it stays so well-behaved, I'd like to invite it back to certain spots in the garden next year! (Photo color is true.)

Sweet! I hope you eventually find some seeds...and offer them up here first if you have any extras...(wink, wink)

Lovely! I tried to grow this twice...it never grew for me. It's a beauty.

RE: Autumn's falling fast...

This is the first year I got any sprouts. They got started in my neighbors planters with lots of sun and little water for part of the summer, then I ripped them up and planted them in my yard. Despite being relocated they've done really well.

I've finally spotted a few seeds. I guess the true test of its behavior is how many volunteers I get next year!

I'll definitely start a bunch this spring. As I recall, they took forever to sprout -- so I may end up bringing the extra seeds to the swap.

A few other last minute beauties.

I think these are the last roses of the year. The color is much darker in the cold weather.

One of the many volunteer malvas; Zebrina, I think. Also much darker in cold weather.

A very optimistic primrose:

And the first every bloom from my Nadezhda lilac. Wrong season, but a nice effort!
