I had a friend give me this flower . It still is blooming. The leaves are green ( white spots on photo] Is not part of plant. Sure would love to know what this is.

| Looks like Emilia javanica. Red or orange flowers, grown as an annual outside of the tropics. It has small fluffy whitish seed heads. |

| Yep, it's Emilia alright. Also called Tassel Flower or Lady's Paintbrush. |
