WANTED: Lilac bush

I am looking for a lilac bush for my mother she wants one. I remember growing up in the northern states and they where all over ... even just growing out in the selterbelts along the country side but around here I see very few and my first guess would be the summers are to hot and dry but I do see a few grow around and was wondering if anybody has any potted starts they would like to trade. I have several things to trade including a blooming orchid plant hardy palms along with alot of other things. Just let me know what your looking for.
Thanks
