HAVE: False Indigo (Amorpha Californica)

Okay, I hope to get a different response from HAVE instead of WANT. I made the same mistake as LEAPER with the water lettuce. This is not the baptisia australis. It grows 8 to 10 feet with reddish purple flowers in a terminal spike .

Does it take much water? What are you looking for in trade?

I forgot to check back on this forum. Sorry. I just water mine once a week and it's growing very well in this heat. I don't necessarily want to trade for anything , the plant just needs a home. I live in the Tri-City area between Blanchard, Tuttle and Newcastle.

This plant has been planted in my yard so I won't be giving it away. I couldn't let it die in that pot waiting to be put in the ground.

I've got a bunch of those seeds and never had any luck with starting 'em. Got any hints/suggestions for me? MAN I wish I had the problem with a spare plant...!!

I don't know for sure but I have read that the seeds need to be refrigerated for about 10 days and then soaked in warm water for 8 hours. I ordered these bare root from a nursery last year so I don't have any experience with seed germination. Good luck!
