Dragonfly Molting to Adult Stage

While doing a little clean up along our creek I came across this dragonfly nymph fresh out of it’s last molt and drying out.

You post the neatest pictures Randy.
Sitting next to the pond several days ago I was surrounded by at least 4 beautiful blue, almost purple dragonflies. I sat there in awe of them. They are incredible creatures.

What is under and to the right of it? Is that part of a stage or is that another insect?

That is one of the stages it molted from.
