Unfortunately I think these guys are herbivores. He was eating the grass seed heads you can see in the photos.

ThatÂs probably why you see them on the menu in some of the restaurants in Mexico.

A three-foot long lizard crawling through your flowerbeds might think heÂs in heaven. That is until he gets caught:-).
